The simulation of the machining process, which is one of the core functions of CAM solutions including CAMWorks, takes place taking into account the workpiece, tool and fixture. Simulation can be carried out in two modes: tool mode and turbo mode. The extremely useful ‘collision detection’ function available in the simulator allows unwanted events to be eliminated, reducing the risk of damage to the workpiece or the machine itself.
